Hello ,I have a 1972 f31 that has had the back deck and catwalks painted . The prevous owner had the engines and tanks replaced and the out fit that did the work did a fantastic job. Also they did a transom door which is great. They sprayed the whole cockpit area, under the hardtop and the transom. Unfortunatly I donot know who did the work, and cannot find a color that matches. Does anyone have somewhere that I could send a sample of the color to match. I don't want to use a paint that has a catalist because I'm afraid that it may lift the paint underneath. thanks George

I would get a paint chart from interlux pettit and all-grip ( that will cover 99%) . on line pant charts will be off . you may have a 2 part paint so a 1 part may not match up perfectly your's also could have been custom mixed to match . good luck

Gearge, Are you sure it's paint? or could it be sprayed gelcoat? If the work was done by a FG shop it could be gelcoat. jimbo36

was actually going to take a part from the boat that was painted and go to a autobody supply house and see if they could match it.I don't know if the could make a paint that i could roll and tip.
