that set on horns are what we install on a lot on 18 wheelers and they will deplete a air tank in a heart beat. go to your local 18 wheeler salvage yard to get a air tank cheap

I used to have these setup on my 4x4 F350. These will work good.

They do not use much air as you might think they do. They have a Electric Solenoid Valve, so when you press the horn button, it allows air to flow through the horns. So they do not drain the tank every time you blow the horn.

I have a set of 2' horns. One horn mounted each side of the flybridge just above the lower hand-rail. They came with the boat but the compressor and tank on board were shot. I found replacements from "Hadley". My first tank was only 1 gal. That gave me one 2 second blast and then about 3 min to refill the tank. I replaced with a 3 gal tank. That works much better.

The horns work great, but I've bumped the button by accident in while in the marina, and it does not make my dock-mates to happy.

Better mount it in the center .A horn that large could cause the boat to lean and to make a sharp turn when the horn is in use !

better point it back wards hit the button and pick up 2 knots :D
