Hi All AGAIN
I am looking for the thin aluminum band or tape that is used on the original headliner....most local shops never heard of it ....
Thanks Jim

I used these white plastic strips I found at home depot. I'm not sure what the actual use was for. The stapes went through nice & they made nice crisp seams. And they were cheap.

As long as the folded edge is not too badly 'nicked' flattening it out with a block of wood and a hammer will make it work.... it's only purpose is to give that straight edge on one side to fold the liner back over.... mine had many tears and holes in it but the curled edge was OK so I just made it flat and put it back up..... finished edge looked like new once the liner was folded back over it... the liner will hide minor imperfections.
Just a FYI...
