OK, for those of you who are still shivering and dreaming of a day out, heres some live Trojan action from today.
I got my bottom cleaned yesterday, and made 27 knots on last year's diesel fuel!
Turn up the speakers ....
I'm pumped!. We took the Sea Pro out yesterday and had a nice run. The Chaparral (370hp 454) wouldn't run because the ethanol had eaten the Quadrajet's seals again (2 years in a row). Got to find out what kind of seals they use in carb'd alcohol drag racers .... can't have the seals go bad 60 miles offshore!
Now, get to the dock and get that oil changed !!!!!!!

WOOOHA! 27 knots in an F32 is smoking fast. Glad she runs good after such a long cold winter.

Love St. Augustine. My boat came from St. Augustine. The owner used her for diving, but sold to focus on his planes.

The city msrina lets you pay by the hour should you want to day trip. Staying on the boat is cheaper than a motel by far.

The snow has almost all melted around here and it's raining. If the temp stays mild, the ice in the marina will also be gone soon. I'm hoping for an early launch this year to extend the season but i'm sure it'l still be a while before we can say that spring has sprung around here.

If they have the bisque-shrimp or lobster, be sure to have it. Marvelous soup. My wife likes the grouper.
