My 1980 F32 sank and the cockpit hatch cover floated away. My boat has been re-floated and is ok now except I have no cockpit hatch cover.
If you have one or know where I can get one please email me; hughjarrett@comcast.net

Through hull fitting for AC hose broke letting water into bilge instead of overboard. Bilge pumps kept up until breaker on shore power tripped resulting in no power to charger. Battery ultimatley died and bilge filled up and boat sank in slip; 4ft deep at low tide and about 7 ft at high. My baby all wet and damp too.
I should have noticed broken through hull fitting. So cause is really pilot error!
S....t happens.

That does suck. Sorry to hear...
Here is a picture of a friend's F32 which sunk in the Washington Channel in DC., a few winters ago. It's still on stands in a marina. Don't think it'll ever float again. It had a moderate water intrusion issue, then the bilge pumps failed due to batteries dying- no shore power!

I dont mean any disrespect, but you said your boat sunk in 7' of water and other than losing the lazertte hatch cover, the boat is "ok"? I would think it would be a near total loss , I think we would all like to hear the details  !

holy cow...this is 3 years old...

Your best if Bob doesn't have one is make it or update to a modern one. If you want to go that way and Bob doesn't mine I'll post a good but not a bank breaker on here.

The OP posted this almost 3 years ago I would asume he/she has replaced the hatch . But wait and see if they post.
