I now have a F28 with a single 318, My rudder is bent in a few different directions. I found a new one from a local boat shop for $410,it has a SS shaft,is this a good price?

Rudder shafts are bronze so if you hit something it bends the shaft rather than ripping a hole in your bottom. Check your old rudder closely and see if the shaft isn't removeable.

Many rudder shafts are SS , my choice
