I was recently given a F-28 Hardtop. I am in the process of restoring it. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do first to help the process go smoother? Also where can I find windows, mine are gone in the front, frames are there, no glass that tilts?
I will post some pics soon, I believe this boat will look amazing, I have seen some of yalls and they are great boats. It is a 1975 I believe, I am going to put a Ford 460 in her soon, does this sound ok?

When I restore a boat I always start with the ship systems, (hull and structural, engine, trans, shafts, thru-hulls , pumps, electrical, electronics, etc) then go to decks and cabin structure, then appliances and interior and so on. The reason I do ship systems first is because I want to use the boat as soon as possible and work on it while I'm using it. Sometimes it helps to spend a weekend using the boat to keep from getting burned out on the project.

I agree with wowzer, restoring a boat can be intensive work. Getting it in good working order first will allow you to use it occasionally while the fit & finish stuff is being taken care of. This is important because actually using the boat may change some of your ideas on how your interior layout, electronic systems, etc should be set up to suit your specific needs.
