The transom top looks nice... and would look even better on mine as I have removed the railing. :wink:
One question though.... what kind of bracing do you have behind the cleat?
I know the top of the transom, original position has extra reinforcement, what exists on the vertical position where you now have them?
Did you add something and if so do you have details and/or photos?

If you look at the first picture you will see a stainless steel backing plate on the transom just before the W in the name, also I made a teak plate that I used on the inside of the transom but the poor quality of the picture doesn't show it.

Was the transom solid glass or cored, and how thick overall ?

Willietrojan, Looks great. Just wondering about the line chafe on the edge of your boat. You may want to add a stainless strip to prevent the dock line from wearing through the gelcoat on the top edge of the transom. Just a thought. jimbo36.

Looks great - Ive thought about doing the same to keep the back clean and clear for fishing lines, but haven't don it yet. That's a great setup!
