Wire Penetrations In New Hard Top

Ok, I've outsmarted myself. I got this nice new hardtop with the radar mounted on it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a watertight cable penetration system? The through hole needs to be 1” and the cable is about ½”. There’s no way to connect pipe to the dome so the cable will have to be straped to the top and exposed on the topside.

Would have to see what you are trying to do to know for sure, but I have used (on a smaller scale - for a VHF cable, and for loud hailer wiring) a clam shell vent... Drill the main hole, run the wire, bed a clam shell vent over top of the wire and hole (opening facing aft of course), and shmoosh as much silicon or caulk of your choice in to any gaps between the wire and the vent to seal off the back end.

How about a big huge glob of 4200 caulk.
