I have included a couple of photos of my Tricabin galley renovation. I changed the stock L-shape arrangement into a straight line by swinging the fridge ninety degrees, into that hard to reach space just to the right of the sink. This change has created extra room in the salon for my two easy chairs. It also gave me a nook where the fridge used to be and I have built in a shelf there, for the coffee pot. I had to put floor in because there was nothing under the old fridge. I tried cork for the floor and I like it. I added a teak panel along the port wall behind where the old fridge sat.
The new counter top is black corian, sink white corian and the new faucet pulls out.

I am in the midst of re-doing my tri-cabin galley and am wondering where you put the refrigerator. I would like to see photos of your entire salon area if you have more.

I never thought about moving the fridge over there like that. Would solve a couple of problems for me, though (like getting a replacement one to fit!)
Also, would make my life easier dealing with a straight countertop vs. the 90 degree angle one.

Also like where you put the outlet, but I think I might try to put it inside the cabinet or something.
I assume you replaced the actual box, as I cannot find a GFCI outlet that will fit inside the stock electrical boxes.

Perhaps these two additional photos offer an improved angle.

In regard to electrical outlets. I put in one dedicated electrical outlet on the wall behind the fridge for the fridge, fully accessible from under the sink.

Secondly, I installed another outlet for appliances on the new countertop (the one you can see in the photo.) . Thirdly, I placed yet another electrical outlet down in the nook where you see the chrome coffee pot.

One interesting thing is the fact that we now find that two people can stand beside each other while preparing dinner whereas before, with the L-shaped galley it was a little crowded.

I thought that I would miss the former counter top space when I eliminated the L-shape but actually, by changing over to a single sink from the stock double sink I managed to claim back some of the lost counter top space....so it feels okay.

Thanks to Michael for whatever he did to make my photos open up. I hope that these two new ones are thumbnail size instead of full size and that you can just click on them.
