The problem with on line ordering is the freight. I have found locally I can work with suppliers to buy Cetol at 32.00 tax, title and out the door.

Roofer, check out this web site and give them a call. They are in Mississauga. May be worth your while to join the co-op, they have great prices.

Dave, I don't get you initial post. $40 a pint?? Cetol dosn't come in pints.1 Liter and 4 liters, here in Canada. A 1 liter can is Close to 1 US quart and retails for about $40. in most reasonably priced  Chandlery's. I just bought some at Pride Marine in Kingston, On. for 39.95 West Marine is $10. more. jimbo36

I use Cetol on the outside teak... inside teak I use teak oil applied with a rag.
I prefer the look and it does not really need protection from the weather.... teak oil is much cheaper than Cetol.
Get used to it rooferdave, a boat is a hole in the water into which you will keep on throwing money.

Boating is fun, relaxing and you will live longer.... so it is worth it.
