A different Nav Light question

My light configuration is as follows: I have a red/green in front, a 225 mast-head in front of the helm, a combo mast-head/all-round above the radar arch, and a stern light. When I turn on nav lights, everything turns on except the combo above the radar arch - it stays dark. When I switch to anchor everything turns off except the combo. The combo turns on front and back.

I would think that switching on nav lights would turn on the front of the combo light on the radar arch. Are any of you guys with 12M aft cabin also wired like this?

I am concerned that I may not get a full 225 out of the mast-head in front of the helm because the helm and canvas are in the way. Except for that, I think my configuration is still legal, but I want to fix this if it is wrong.

This is what I understand.....
You cannot have two white lights facing forward..... unless you are towing.
What you have is correct. Now if you removed the lower one and modified the top one to have power to the front bulb only when in nav mode that would be the best situation I think.

Sounds to me like it is wired correctly. The light on the arch is your anchor light. If you want to update it from a 2 bulb incandescent fixture, get one of the new all round LED lights.
They have a better range and consume only a fraction of your precious battery power. Reliability is also much improved because of their long life expectancy and will also save you having to climb up to replace bulbs.
