Trying to find a manufacturer of a canopy for the cockpit of my 1977 30ft Trojan Express.
I want to put a canopy to cover the cockpit while out on the water or not.
Dimensions are 9ft wide at the largest point and 8 ft wide at the transome.
Guess about 4 to 5 feet high.
Anyone out there have a canopy for this and if so where and how did you order.
I guess $cost is not an issue if you want the canopy.
Also do you have screens and such?
Thanks

We had one that came with our F-30. Got rid of it. Check with Bob at Beacon Marine he or John at Marine Tech may have the drawings.

I think most, including myself, have had custom canvas made to fit with any options you wish. I had the local canvas shop make for me a bridge enclosure with removable windows and a boot cover for when it's folded up. For hard winters I can remove the bridge enclosure and put on a bridge cover to seal the bridge. I also have a cockpit enclosure with removable windows, railing covers, hatch covers, velcro attached hatch screens for the inside, snap on side window screens, windshield cover, etc. I even had made a snap on screen for the sliding glass door with a zipper in the middle. All or any of it is removable for many combinations and allows my wife to be comfortable year round, and when momma's happy everyone's happy.

Take a look at the picture of the F26. All the canvas (Sunbrella actually) was made by a local shop. The frame also. Get some quotes and talk to other folks at your marina or nearby. I've had the covers since 1999 and they still are going strong. Get them checked over and repaired every couple of years at a local upholstery shop. Keep them clean and treated with waterproofing every season and they'll last a long time.
here is mine .had a local canvas make if a few years ago
