trim tab upgrade - mid cabin '88

RWS, thanks for posting the specs. I sent a couple of pics to Bennett but it turns out that my boat has Boat Leveler tabs, not Bennett after all. They're smaller at 8"x24".
I checked with Insta Trim/Boat Leveler and the replacemet tabs are $475! A lot more than Bennett and they're 11"x24" with no fin."Drop fin" isn't an option but Bennett has something which can be added, part # DF12.
I need to do something, the Bennett tabs were only going to be around $125 ea, maybe I can modify them.

I have the same tabs. It might cost you more in the long run to try and modify the Bennetts.

have any sheet metal shops in your hood ? maybe they could fix'em and make them bigger...

I have the boat leveler tabs as well.
I needed new tabs for my boat which are 12 x 48.
I pretty much cried poverty so he gave me a really good deal I think.
2 new tabs
4 new cylinders
all new hose, cylinders to pump
all hardware

I know list price on the items I needed was over 1k so, I am happy with this one.
Now the two 3k bills from marinas in FL and NJ, I feel are way high for the work that was done...
