I am in the gulf coast area of Ala and i am thinking of getting a trailer for my 1976-F26 boat.
Does anyone know of a company that makes a trailer for this boat.
Due to the oil spill the waters where i store my boat are closed to recreational boating.

Most of the trailer companies make "vanilla" trailers that will fit most any boat of a certain length. You have to decide whether you want rollers, bunks, or rails, but finding one should not be too hard. Shoreland'r, EZLoader, LoadMaster and LoadRite are just a couple of the trailer manufacturers that offer trailers that should work with your F26.

Something like this? Needs a little work but not bad for the money.

I recommend a triple axle as these boats tip the scales at 6000 or more pounds including fuel and gear. I have a Continental aluminum dual axle with a bunk board design. It is long enuff that I can drive it onto the trailer without getting the truck's back wheels wet. Make sure you get one with rather tall bunks to give your rudder lots of ground clearance. Oh and brakes are a must.

Any of you guys know what kiind of trailer the factory sold with these?

I've got a tandem axle, 9,000lb rated traitor and my f25 just about max's out it, I agree with fooferb, best bet is to get a trip axle with brakes.
