autopilot on a f boat

has anyone installed a autopilot on a hydraulic steered f model boat? if so which steering manufacturer do you have?
which manufacturer/model autopilot and
how well is it working for you?

Mine came with one which I have not used. I will look at it this weekend and give you some info. I believe I also have a manual for it on board.
In my confined boating area I was never going to use it unless I was heading out to cross Georgian Bay which would mean I would miss all the atractions along the shoreline.

It has a chain drive mechanism underneath the console which is connected to the hydraulic line I believe... uses it's own internal compass... not new enough to be connected to a gps.
I'm planning to get it up and running over the next month or so.... want to make sure everything is functional for the next owner.

if you ever want to sell the autopilot and make a deal, let me know, I am going to add on to my F-32, west coast cruising requires autopilot.....
