Hi all,
The wood lamination material on the plywood that covers the V birth has the edges broke off, and I would like to replace so it will look new.
I have tried to Google search for places that sell the wood laminate, but always get places that sell some sort of clear film like stuff?
What would be the proper name so I can get places that sell the fake wood laminate, that I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Larry

Don't understand.....
You are looking for fake wood laminate or marine ply with real wood laminate?
If the fake wood I can't help.
If real teak try these:

Yea,,,,veneer,,,that's what I was trying to think of.
I just want to replaced the glued veneer that has chipped off the panels that cover the v birth. But this is way down on the list of "to do" things right now.
I just started removing all the teak wood in the cabin, and refinishing at home, but like to think ahead.
Thanks for all the places to check.

GOOD GOD!

I just check one place for teak veneer, and it was $55.00 a square foot. I just about passed out.
Excuse me, I got to get an ice pack.

Yes this is your best bet, then stain/seal it to match. I am taking the black handles off my cubbords and putting in regular post handles on them. This is what i used for that edge, they are iron on too, very easy to work with.
After you iron it on, just cut it down or sand it to blend in and stain/seal it. Easy to do, cheap too.

I saw something called Band-It at Lowes. Check out their website. They have teak and teak colored veneer in sheet and edge and both come with adhesive or non-adhesive backing. Price seemed reasonable. I'm in the process of replacing the buggered up vinyl trim on the bulkhead below the v-berth and on the base of the back settee in the cabin. I may just go with good old light oak contact paper, but am concerned that it will not stand up well.
