How would I go about checking and fixing the water intake for my ac unit? Where is this intake located? I think this might be causing me to take on water when the a/c unit is running.

If you locate your A/C unit you should see the hose running from the heat exchanger dow to a through hull with a sea cock. Mine is in the same area as my engines. When I pull up the floor plates in the salon where the engines and the A/C are located, it is right in front of the port side engine.

I am not sure where yours is in an F32, but the hose should be visible on the A/C unit.

Check your condensate drain, it runs off the bottom of the tray under the compressor. If it doesn't run into a sump box and pumped overboard automatically but into your bilge instead, this could be where the water is coming from while the AC is running. I suspect that if it were a leak at the intake, you would take on water whether the unit was running or not. In any case, you should familiarize yourself with the location of the intake, seacock, strainer, etc.

Big D is right. An intake leak sucks air and causes your A/C to not work well, however a discharge leak or condensate drain leak sounds like your culprit. Look overboard and see where your A/C dischare through hulls are spraying then back trace to the A/C and pump for any leaks. If you have bilge water from them it'll be east to spot.

just gotta follow the hoses...with a flashlight.if it's a noticeable leak while running,likely the discharge hose.Condensation likely enough to
be significant... might get some staining or wet marks.

My Cabin Comfort dumps condensate in the bilge. Since my AC is not working properly and not being used, there is no water in the bilge now. The condensate was displacing a fair amount of water. When I get my cabin comfort back online, I will make sure the condensate hose goes somewhere else besides the bilge.
