Tony's keeping me updated on his trip south with his wife and two dogs. His departure was delayed due to winds and sea conditions. But he made it through Norfolk and to Great Bridge, not sure where he's at now but here are some pics so we can travel vicariously through him. :) I'll update as he sends info to me. Here in no particular order...

I think Teddy and Rex Reagan are anxiously awaiting the tossing of the lines.

Want to thank you v.p.Tboy for putting up the pics for me. We started out at 7 am today and the bay was rolling 3 to 4s on our stbd quarter now I'll be the first to tell you my 3607 handles like a greased pig being push like that and if a Carver owner says different I want his boat. But we got down to Hampton in good time 3 hrs we gased up and thanks to a heads up from Paul I saved 23.00 bucks. Then on across Hampton Roads that's where the Bay,James river and the Elizabeth river all come together and that was worse than the bay. Then on in to the ICW and smooth water went through 1 lock and three drawbridges so far. Ended the just south of Greatbridge Va at a free dock no power but the good old Onan works great.

Yep the hand rails came from an F32 that a waterman gutted to make an oyster boat out of. And stuck a single oil-burn in it. If it ever show up at the marina again I'll take pics of it

If you get a chance...Stop in @ Midway Marina and tell them Rick and Tim on the Miss Kitty made-it and say hey! Nice little marina with good people, good food and fair prices. Caint say enough about how well we were treated by these good folks. Make sure to get local info. on the Albamarle Sound before you start across...It got really nasty on our first try and we had to turn back and wait. The locals had warned us to wait for better weather but I had to find out the hard way!

Aaron they look like they're unloved don't they  maybe you guys can bring your tri down to port kinsale in the spring and they (the pups ) can tell tales of the sea.

lol..... no such thing as a 'spoiled dog' just well loved. i can tell you are as passionate about your boat and your dogs like me. i flew a one day trip on sunday and when i got home late that evening, maccabee came running down the steps and lept into my arms. considering he is like a cannon ball at that speed i'm surprised he did not knock me down. he said, ''how dare you leave me at home all day with phil!!" hopefully maccabee and your KC's would get along. i'd love to see the 3 of them running around together.
