I'd like to get down to the waterfront. That should put me up in the mileage Paul's talking about, that way I don't have to hear him whine.

Or at least meet up for an extended weekend at the Tides Inn.

The marina is there Paul but thtere's nothing to do and walking around downtown Norfolk not for me unless I got my own 40 and I don't mean malt beer.and Urbanna would do good docks places to eat and drink and yes shop with repair shops ect. And all walking distance and well protected. But the chop can get rough say 6" to 8" some days

I was just at waterside and it has taken a real bad turn. On a saturday night I was the only boat in the marina. I kept my boats there 2003 to 2004 and the place was packed and the shops were full. The story goes that the city lease ran out and the city took it over. Then they put a time limit on the bars, so they moved to Granby street. Once they left the shops pulled out. Hooters is still there but the girl said they are moving when the lease is up. Joe's is still there but the kids walking around at night makes me want to go somewhere else.
