Looks really great! - Glad you found a great place.

I have a good friend that lives on a canal in Cape Coral and will be visiting him in March. He has a 30' Black Finn that we use to fish in the Gulf. Great place to be.

:x Not Fair, Not fair at all! So in order to stay in the boating club this is what you need to do,
1. Tie and old sail boat to your boat
2. Have some old guy live in it and toss crab and fish guts on your
swim step.
3. Get a sprinkler or better yet a snow blower and aim it at the boat for
six months out of a year.
4. Most important make sure you get in the car and drive 10 miles before
using the boat.
5. Toss $500.00 a month into the wind for having the privilege to do the
above.

8) Living the dream. At least some of are (VERY COOL SETUP)

thanks guys,, been waiting a LONG time to do this,,,
but you gotta just jump,,, wasnt easy, had to give up a good business and start all over again,,,
but all worth it,
here is what I gave up
1. paying marina fees, to the tune of 4-5 k a year
2. Cold weather and not being able to do what I like about 7-8 months a year
3. low life scum of the earth people moving in all around me near the NJ NY area
4.SNOW ICE and disgusting slush
5. 450.00 a month gas and electric bill
6. 3000 a month mortgage
7. 1500 a month shop fee
lets see what else
8. working like a jackass to pay for the above,
9. getting an ulser every time I drove home and being the only one on my block not from the middle east, and I was born 1/2 mile from my home in NJ, so I was getting sick to my stomach
10. being broken into twice at my home, and having to buy guard dogs to protect my belongings,
11. having a bad back at 50 from leaning over a car fender for my entire life and having to do it in the winter.
12. not being around my own kind of people(I think I mentione that already didnt I)
13. riding my motorcycle whenever I want to, without freezing my ass off
and the list goes on and on and on

born and raised in NJ, and broke my heart to leave, but enough was enough

dropped off my daughter to college and on the way home, called my wife and told her to start looking for a place in florida, snap decision,
the only way to do it

Im not saying its perfect here, but damn near close to it,
