This might be a quirky question, but where do you guys store, attach your life rings? I have looked at a few pics and don't always see where you guys have them attached.
I am trying to figure where to put mine on the F25, do you attach it to the rail, at the back, over the side.
Do you use the stainless hangers or just prop it against the inside deck?
Near the Trojan decal..?
OR... do you even have or need one? and only use a heaving line with floating device.

Mine is in the cockpit and hangs from the forward locking screw on the passenger seat. A throw line is attached to it so it's ready to go at all times. In this location, I find that it's easily accessible and doesn't get in the way.

Yes Rocket Launchers

Salt water fishermen know what I am talking about , I did expect this from a fresh water boater .

On the front rail in a ring holder clamped to rail along with attached line.

The important thing about where you put the Life Ring , is that you can get at it in a hurry in any sea condition thats why mine is right behind me on the helm . I can throw it from there , pass it down to someone or bring it down with me .
If you can't get to it in a hurry its usless

Yes that's what I thought mine is right be hind me to and with in reach of anyone stand on my aft deck. Remember its a short ladder 2 steps from deck to bridge. And ready why a line tied to yours? What happends if you're doing say 16 knots and someone goes over and you need to throw it ? And your the only one left on the boat ?

Thanks guys for the info, guess it is a matter of preference, if room permits, the closer to the helm the better I guess.

Mine is on the left side of my upper helm console. I can throw it in an instant if necessary. I also keep the life vests up high too. The bridge will be last to hit the water, god forbid in a hull rupture situation and quickly taking on water. The vests will be easy to get at. And... they float.

I would hate to go up to the bow in heavy seas to get it .
