There currently are no sea strainers on my genset, a/c pump, or head. Was wondering what kind, (manufacturer, material, etc.) to install. The groco listed at W/M say fresh water only?

Mine are groco, brass with clear covers......nice to see inside without removing.........I've never had to clean or replace the strainer element.

Personally I like the Perko. Easy to service, no tool needed to unscrew lid, and has a brass drain plug. The drain plug on the Groco is plastic and has a nasty habbit of breaking, leaving the broken piece in the hole.

You can use WSB-750-P in salt water WSP-750 is for fresh water
Like Big D I would chouse perko or other Bronze over plastic
