Cockpit painting

It's time to strip and re-paint the rear cockpit area. My friend has used Brightside by Interlux, with polyurethane and has good results. I have read that any exterior paint with alkalyd would work, such as a Porch and Floor paint. Polyurethane is not good because it's very hard and would not expand and contract with humidity. Has anyone used a Porch and Floor paint before ?

I painted my back deck last year with petit easy poxy.I mixed one quart of semigloss white and one quart of semigloss off white and the color match was almost perfect. I also painted 1st coat and while still wet I sprinkled with beach sand, let dry and then recoated....Looks great and pleanty of grip
