Hi all,

Have any of you done any major modifications to your boats cabin. Example,,,I was looking at the v berth today and was thinking of changing it to a single berth by removing the port side of the V, to allow extra space to be used. I was thinking of placing the fridge on the end of the counter thereby extending it out. Then taking the added space provide by the area left by the fridge, to add shelves or what ever. I could then add large pillows to the back of the berth, to form a couch, sorta.

Storage space is at a premium in the F25. Since it is only my wife and I who will be using the boat, and even if we stayed a night on board, the dinette makes into a bed, giving us both sleeping room.

But was just wondering if anyone has made changes in such a manner?

Thanks,

Larry

I would suggest you try sleeping on the dinette a few nights before you put the saw to the v bert.
