Hi all,
Just looked at Stripermann2 post on the burning boat and the mention of Boat US. I'm now in the process of switching to them for my insurance. On the self survey it says at the bottom of the form to call then about any questions you have about it. I did that yesterday and got a nice lady on the phone, but each question I ask, she didn't have an answer for.
What it boiled down to was I fill out the form, send in the pictures, then it goes to some kind of board that will approve it or not, within 48 hours.
Only then do I send any money and join the group. If I'm not approved, I'm told why in their call, to be able to fix the problems and try again. I was told, once I'm approved, I can not be denied a claim if something show up in an investigation that my show something was not in compliance with any laws.
I now have a small few things I have to do, like double clamp the raw water seacock, wiring, and I should be just fine.
