My Wife wants me to remount the Perko step on my transom. It dosn't look like I need a step from the swim platform to the cockpit. If you have the step is it being used? I already know the final outcome but would like anyones input.

we use our "step" all the time.

Although the gunnels are lower on the Express Cruiser than on the Mid Cabin models, that little step is used a lot.

In the event you do move it you should consider replacing the wood backing with starboard.
