Ok..Your allowed a little chuckle..but just a little

I am so embarassed to ask this, but not asking and doing something stupid would be worse.

So..I found the Gas cap /fuel access..port side
I found the Waste for pump out, port side

BUT:
I haven't found where to put freshwater into the boat.
And..at the front on the bow, it looks like a water access..but I am not sure. Nothing written on it

Those that have an F-25 or are experienced, please chuckle away and help this green horn noob out

Thanks

I'm sure the 25ers will be around shortly but the one at the bow sounds right to me. Can you check under your vberth to see if there is a tank there?

Agree with Big D.... water fill is probably in foredeck, but the other 25/26 owners are probably best to confirm.

First...there is no such thing as a stupid or dumb question. At least, not here. Can you follow the waste and fresh water tank and sum up where the lines go? It can't be too hard to figure out. But again as mentioned, you'll have an answer shortly.

I agree Jamie, no stupid questions here. Now, if you poured fuel in there without asking first, that would get you a few chuckles!!

On My F-26, there's an inspection plate that spins off to expose the filler on the water tank. Its on the cock pit floor under the port seat.

  ,,,,,,,just kiddin' ,,,,,,but on my 1980 F25, there is a round inspection, hatch, about 6" in dia. under the pilot seat on the starboard side. Unscrew it, and about 6" below, the is another 2" (or so) plug, and that is where to fill the 20 gal. fresh water tank.

I filled mine yesterday,,,,and as Murphy's Law said to do,,,,,,I dropped the cap down into the engine, when trying to screw it back on. (it's still there) :(

By the way you all, I have been able to get water running using my present pump. It turns out it is a Par-Max 2.3 gph, on demand pump. I took out all the hoses from the pressure tank to the faucet, counted 7 splices doing it. Bought 18 feet of new water hose and connected it directly from the faucet to the pump, and the pump to the water tank. Opened the faucet, turned on the pump and within 5 sec's water started flowing. It doesn't flow as smooth as when the pressure tank was installed, but I'm getting water.

I was surprised to learn how not having water in the cabin screwed things up. I may try and re-hook up the pressure tank someday,,,,see how it goes.

Thanks Larry
I have the exact same thing.
Didn't realize it was so much work to refill the freshwater tank. Should have been designed much simpler.

Now to try and understand what the Cap with approximately 2 1/2 inch hole at the bow is for.
When I look at it, it has a chain so not to lose the cap that goes down into the hole, it is more of a pipe going down, will have to try and follow to see where it leads. It might be the freshwater fill tube..at this point, I am dumbfounded.
Make sense? and under the pilot seat would be to empty it?

Guess I'm going to have to splurge the $$ and buy the manual from Bob about the boat.

OK>>>>>Off to Boat school tonight, almost finished the Power squadron Course. Navigation and the likes. Interesting and enjoyable.

Torcan,

Check out the backup anchor on the bow in this picture. The rope and chain for it are stored down there. Its original equipment.

:)
