engine circuit breakers

Post by kallen »

1981 f-32" 318"engines. Wont get to the boat until next weekend (rain all this weekend). What amperage are the 2 circuit breakers on the engine. I know 1 is a 50 amp and i have a mercury part # but I forget what amps the smaller one is and if someone has a part # that would be great.

I think it is a 25amp, but parts manual I have is for a 360 and only lists a number for the 50A breaker (2875586).

However, I do see Beacon has a 25Amp breaker part number 4142033 here http://www.trojanboats.net/PriceLists/C ... ts%202.pdf (search for it or look on pg 33)

I checked in my 318 chrysler manual for the 225 electronic ignition. 40amp breaker. I also looked at the diagram sticker inside the plastic cover which has the red button sticking through. It also shows 40amp.
