I'm planning a couple of trips to the Bahamas in the next month or two.

I'm looking for some guidance on flag placement

I have a bow flag that I plan on flying my club burgee on.

I have a staff on the radar arch that fits my Old Glory.

I have a stern holder but don't have the staff for.

I could also fly something off of my VHF antenna.

So while in transit out of the USA the YC on the bow and Old Glory on the arch or at the stern should be ok.

While entering the Bahamas I need to fly the quarantine flag and replace it with the Bahamas courtesy flag once cleared.

Should I move Old Glory to the stern and use the arch staff for the Q and courtesy flag?

Thanks for the help.

I've been ready all of this and still find it a bit confusing.

My understanding is that what I proposed before would be fine.

Are there any specific comments or recommendations?

Here in Norway we have another flag etiquette. The national flag should be up in the time between 08:00 till 21:00, or to sundown but not later than 21:00 (I guess you use AM/PM) In the wintertime the flag should be up in the time between 09:00 till sundown, but not later than 21:00. The rules about non national flags are free, but only one thing: No flag is to be dragged in water or on soil.
