FX-1 install - nightmare

I know you guys have installed the Microair FX-1 control panel and box. Has anyone done it on a Lunair unit?

I ordered mine from one of their distributors in TX and have been bouncing back and forth between them and Microair (who does not want to talk to end users). What I've pieced together is the Lunair install requires some bypassing/rewiring in order for it to work. I've got it wired correctly (panel to control box... Microair verified that).

It comes on, pump works and it blows cold air. The problem is that the unit turns on with the breaker and the control panel in the off position.

Apparently, the Coastal Climate version of the FX-1 comes with instructions to do exactly what I need to do but it's not their unit and they won't even sell the directions.

By any chance did anyone get the Coastal Climate FX-1 version and have the step by step to get it working with the Lunair?

I told the distributor what Lunair model I had when I ordered it and he said "no problem". Now I'm saying I need to return it because I can't get it to work and he's saying "that's a problem".

Any help appreciated! I know it's probably 5 mins of wiring if I knew what to do.

thanks Paul, unfortunately I'll be there. That only shows the control panel to box wiring. There is a schematic but I don't know what specifically needs to be done on th eLunaire unit.

I'm hoping someone here installed the Coastal Climate FX-1 version and has the instructions. Willing to pay!

do you have anything (schematic) on the lunaire unit?
i only found a reference to someone saying they are no longer in the marine ac business since about 1997,
i did find this link on ebay of a guy that has a junction box for sale
that shows a schematic of something but cant make it out and i dont know if it the same as we are speaking of. if it is it might be worth seeing if he would make a copy of the paper for you.

Thats funny that you bring this up as I have the exact same issue with an FX 1 that the previous owner had installed in my salon.
With everything else that I have been doing to the boat it has been on the back burner for a while now but I plan to tackle it soon.
I will let you know what I find out.
