Towing a Waverunner?

Has anybody ever towed a waverunner with a 10 Meter? After a day out on the river nobody want to drive the waverunner back to the Marina. I wouldn't be going over 15-20 MPH. Someone told me this can harm a waverunner unless something on the waverunner is clamped.

We tow a Yamaha vx100 every now and then.
We have a set of "tow sticks" from a company call toadster

I was told by the yamaha dealer that there was nothing that towing at speeds under 20 mph was going to be a problem. We've probably dragged ours over 200 mi and so far, no issues. No promises I guess, but that's been my experience.

The tow sticks look like they will work. I'm not sure where to connect to my 10 Meter. The only cleats are on the inside of the transom and use hawse pipes. There are two openings with flaps near the floor. I think these are for hosing the deck. Will the tow sticks work over the transom or will I need to add a place to hook up.

Through the years I have towed Seadoo's and Yamaha's 100's of miles up and down the Columbia river and have never had a problem or heard of any others having a problem towing there's.

Sorry, I forget to tell you where to clip on at. I too have the inside cleats on our F36. So, the answer was pretty simple. I picked up a couple of 2.5" SS u-bolts and installed them on the top of the supports for the swim platform. On our F36, the swim platform is attached by 1.5" ss pipe that supports the teak decking and 2x2 teak struts to the bottom of the transome. Where the SS pipe is joined to the transome, there are 5/8 bolds that go through the transom and there are 18" square 1" thick plywood backer boards that have been glassed over. I'm not sure if this was orginal, but its build strong enough to hold a truck off the back.
I'll try to snap a picture of the SS U bolts next weekend.

I checked in my Sea-Doos owner's manual last year after towing from out in Lake Erie and under 25 was fine, over 25 it was reccommended to clamp one of the cooling lines on the Sea-doo to prevent water from flooding into some unwanted areas. I didn't worry about it since 25 is not a speed I have ever been able to get to
