Autopilot

Post by stevedorej »

Hi, I'm new here so I'm still getting my feet wet.

Anyway I am looking for an autopilot for a 1987 Trojan 10meter with hydraulic steering where I can also tie a Raymarine C-Series. I'm having a hard time finding compatible autopilots for this. Can anybody please help. thanks

i HAVE THE rAY MARINE c SERIES WITH THE AUTOPILOT

tHE MOTOR AND HYDRAULICS ATE SET UP AT THE (SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS LOCK)

The autopilot system is set up at the rear, simply remove the two starboard side access panels - the small one and the locker and it's a reasonably easy job.

I used STARBOARD to make a bracket to hold the sensor.

Otherwise if I had to do it all again, I would NOT use the Raymarine system.

I have replaced 2 flux capacators (one under warranty) and the radome unit (also under warranty) and I find the plastic connectors at the back of the chartplotter to be less than sturdy.

NEVER AGAIN
