after a closer inspection the non skid will probably clean up easy enough and mind you theres not alot of quit in me , but Ive been starring at that boat for the past hour"new boat onwer moment" and what Ive come up with is that 26ft boat is H U G E !!! I love a clean boat freshly waxed but there is just so much boat , has anyone ever painted the cabin top and non skid atop the bow to avoid having to wax these areas constantly.
And my cockpit floor is a bit rough I guess the boat was not taking care of , hence the rpice. but have any of you painted this area or utilized somthing like rhino liner? Just thoughts for the moment and looking for advice

Plenty of us have. And each one of has an opinion.

I like and have had good luck with Interlux products. The key is in the prep. Cleaner, dewaxers, sanding, filling, sanding, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, and finish coats.

I'm pretty certain that if I added up the hours spent doing the paint job right, I would never have spent that many hours in a lifetime waxing. That said, I have no regrets. The paint is aways fresh and bright, doesn't need wax and doesn't absorb stains like the aging gelcoat.

I did my cockpit floor earlier this year with Interlux Interdeck. It's a one part poly paint and so far, I've been very happy with how it's holding up so far.

It goes on easily and looks great. We're not fishing the boat thouigh and I'm sure that helps. I'll post back as I get some miles on it.
