Any mid cabin owners replaced the rollers on the cabin door? Where do you get parts and is top and bottom rollers the same? Any removal/repair tips are welcome.

I got mine from John Leed at Marine Tech and I'm certain that Beacon Marine, the sponsior of this site has them available as well.
I believe in suppporting these two entities, as they do support us.

I have had my door out several times, it is straight forward removal but you need two people to do it right, my plastic wheels actualy rusted fast from salt water and then they get flat spots. I removed all my wheels, soaked them in PB blaster then red spray grease and installed the bottom wheels on the top ( Bottom takes all the weight ) that was four years ago and they still work.

Thanks Mike, will take a look tonight to see how to remove the door.
I think I have the same thing going on with the wheels. Wife said to fix it after opening the door on your boat sat. at the marina, yours was much smoother. RWS also agree with support to the site, thanks.

These ARE large, heavy doors.
In my own experience, WD-40 is the wrong product and leaves drippy black stuff, long after it was used.
A shot of spray silicone or an aerosol product called "Alum a Lube" seems to do better for me.
Same with the Star Trek electric doors in the cabin, but first dismantle and throughly clean the tracks.

Need a little direction on door removal. Do I remove the top and bottom frame or is there another way to access? Wheels look to be screwed in from the inside.

If you could post how you finally get it off, I'll need to do that myself. The door is getting a little hard to open/close.

Thanks, I see what appears to be instructions on the Beacon parts site under rollers for the doors.

If my memory serves me correctly, you remove the top plate first, then the bottom plate and just pick it off, then you have to lay face down and unscrew the rollers from the inside. I seem to remember some small pieces that I almost lost but can not remember exactly what they were or it may have been some other project they all run together after awhile.

Just to post a update. Removed the door today, found large rollers gummed up with hair and debris. Also small horizontal wheels frozen and top slide had came off. Cleaned up and lubed large rollers, reinstalled slide and replaced small rollers with new. Works nice and smooth now.
FYI : to remove door, remove (4) phillips screws at bottom track and (5) screws and acorn nuts on top track. Pull out top and lift off base. Was not too heavy just awkward ( did it myself in a hour ) Could not find the fuzzy strips to replace, will keep looking.
