Replaced both carbs with edelbrock Marine 750's. which do not have vacuum access for the PCV valve hose. There are access ports on both the front and rear of the carbs. but hate to drill and tap them out for a fitting. can I just go to the manifold?

If I do have to tap out the carbs, connecting the PCV valve to the rear port of the carb (that is normally used for brake boosters) will that be to much vaccum??

Manifold vacuum port will be fine , as far as going to the flame arrester with both hoses , thats for a engine with out a PVC valve ,. the ones with a PVC valve you will still have one breather hose going to the flame arrester .
