F36 Sportfish Draft

Anyone have the specs handy on the draft for the F36 Sportfish?
The Army Corp is dropping the pool that we are in on the Mississippi another foot this week to to some lock maintenance. I'm getting nervous about being able to get out the marina the next few weeks, and for the season if we don't get some rain.

How deep does the Marina usually stay?

Thank Paul via Alex38... The marina normally has about 5' of water at the opening to the river channel. We've had high water until a month ago to the rain and it has filled in. Now the Army Corp is doing some work about 5 mi north at Lock and Dam #3, and the are dropping to pool. Its a City operated marina, and of course they have not funds to dredge the channel this year. The depthfinder is never as accurate as you like. It says that there is about 1.5' of water below the boat when I slipped through today, but I know that is not right or I would have been paddling mud. If it drops another foot though this week, I'm in trouble.

I was thumbing through my manual yesterday and on my 84 F36 it said 35" draft. Hope this helps.

35" without all the stuff on it I bet...now start adding all the housewares and extras....

35" then add fuel and the rest of the must haves . Then watch how much the stern drops when you put it in gear . 3 1/2 ' is real world draft.

Put everything in the bow to get out, huh?
My depth finder will show 2.7 feet and its about 12" below the water line and the boat will drag the bottom in the slip.
Hate that 3 1/2' would be the safer number to go with instead of the book but I would be very leary of putting it in gear..........

5 foot is my cut and run...alarms go off at 6....22 "props cost to much...

My alarm is set at 5 feet and thankful we have 12 feet at the dock.

I agree with 3.5 Feet. But I start sweating big time when I get to 5. LOL

pretty much confirmed Paul's 3.5 foot number Sunday. With about 1/2 fuel on board, 1/4 water we slipped out of the marina opening while dragging bottom. Reved up before it got shallow and coasted till she stuck. I check with a pole, right about 42". put her in gear in little bumps and wiggled out. She is slipped at another marina this week and for haul out next Sat AM. Good thing its just Mississippi mud and not rocks!
