All you Trojan boaters on the Chesapeake bay what are your favorite boating places ? I am always looking for new places to see . Heres some of mine

St. Michaels MD lots to do and see .( 2009 rendezvous was there ) Best trip ever !
Across the bay from from there Is Herrington Habour marina South , One of the nicest marinas you will find . I hear the Herrington Harbour north is nice too .

The Solomons MD another top spot . I recommend the Spring Cove or Zanheizers marinas . We had small Trojan get together this year @ Zanhizers great time .

The Tides Inn . Irvington Va or the Rappahanock river on Cater creek , Bring a dingy to explore. And there is Urbana just across the Riva ( as they call it )

The Deltaville Va area More marinas to choose from then anywhere I know .

Cape Charles Va . Bay creek marina is very nice or the city dock ( new floating docks )

Up the Eastern shore a bit there is Tangier Island a step back in time 50 years a Must see . also the town of Onancock Va ( town dock)

On the lower Potomac River you have the Kinsale area , We really enjoy Port kinsale marina ( 2 round ups there ) and Oversons Marina ( different and laid back) we will be back to both in 2012

Just up the river a bit Is Colonial Beach recommend a golf cart rental
Colonial beach yacht center is a great marina ( home of D dock ) no pool but they have a beach and a great restaurant , and you never know who may show up . When on the Potomac river Make sure your on VHF 16 ( as you should be anyway )

and down my way

In Smithfield there is the Smithfield Station on the Pagan river . Very nice marina and Fantastic Food nice town to walk around .( most shops close early and not open Sundays

Down town Hampton . nice city docks not costly lots to see.

I am sure I have forgotten many

So whats your favorites on the Bay ?

why kings mill ?

Anchorages so far St Mary's river under the school, Williams wharf in Mathews Co.

Kinsale, last year .. this year the place was the pits! The folks made the get together GREAT...CBYC was a good time...darn good food.
Urbanna during Oyster fest is a blast..

edit....Baycreek is now over priced since the city put in floating docks..

If you want to go to Willamsburg that would be a good place for sure

Bay creek is more $$ then the city docks but has a pool . And the city dock can rock and roll , The city is planing on more breakwater to help the issue and maybe a pool . time will tell . :D right now Bay creek is my choice but we will see next year

Not me , you think bay creek is over priced ? LOL. It maybe a great spot but I don't think it has much for me ( not in to any thing billysburg has ) But if you like Bush Gardens . Colonial Williamsburg Water Country and golf then its a winner for sure . It really would be a good choice for a lot of you it has a lot to offer.
