remodeling ideas

Post by drbbqking »

I'm still saving for that 74 F-32. But I still like day dreaming about it, and thinking of doing a granite counter tops and even some marble floors below but how about the additional weight should I worrie or go for it?????

My concern with the marble floor would be the flexing of the boat which would crack the bonding of the floor. Especially taking the boat in and out of the water. Granite counter would look nice!

Dreaming is always nice however, the boat you buy will dictate whether you can add the extra wieght and still be satisfied with performance and safety. Remember you will add a few hundred pounds of stuff when you move in. Keep in mind there are also some comparable products that wiegh much less and can look just as good. Some folks here have done a really good job updating their look. We all like showing off our pride and joy so if you want some ideas, just ask, I'm sure the pictures will follow. Good luck in your search.

The boat looks better than when I bought ours, it even has teak toe rails and cockpit rail cap. The hatches are worth the current bid!
