Well Ive completed reinstalling the windows , I got a few rolls of 1/2" butyl tape and installed it on the framework after I danded and painted the frames. all went well and to back up the possible leaks I caulked the outa edge where the frame meets the fiberglass.
Now Ive been working on the inside window trim as the old stuff was nasty. I traced them out and cut them to size, sanded, applied the formica and trimmed. Now when I went to install them in the cabin I noticed the angle pieces that join the top and bottom frames do not match nicely. I expected to install these and have them join perfectly"or close to it "but I have small gaps in excess of 3/16" anyone else have these straight from the factory not lining up. guess I was expecting more of a WOW with all the time spent on them..... back to the drawing board

ok I couldnt goto bed with a "flaw" so after starring at it for awhile I removed the corner trim pc and slowly ran the router along the top and bottom edges after four/five times up and down the ladder to check the fit I got the seams much closer. I can now get away with a small bead of caulk to hide the much smaller gap "less then an 1/8" now.
