I'm thinking of buying a 1975 36 sedan. Was wondering if there is anything in particular I should look for?

Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

delamination in flybridge and deck and cockpit hatches , hatches are not bad to repair but bridge and deck could be very expensive to fix unless you do it yourself which can take a lot of time and patience, get a good surveyor to help you check it out

Thanks

check the bulkhead condition below the salon doors, particular attention to the outboard tab situation, and the wet balsa will be somewhere on the boat. Guaranteed

Get a good marine surveyor! Well worth the minimal cost ($150-$300?)

Thanks

You have to get someone who knows what to look for...a professional surveyor or, in my case, friends who have been around boats forever. Stringers, deck coring, wiring, etc, etc, etc, could all be problems.

Are you with Edward Jones? I had the first office in my town and enjoyed the company in the 90s...until it was time to go!

Best of luck,
