F-26 Flybridge Removal?

Has anyone removed the flybridge from a F - 26?

I'd like to know:
1). How difficult is it to remove? What are the challeges?
2). How much repair work is needed to seal up the hardtop?
3) Is the hardtop for the flybridge the same as is used for a regular hardtop model? By removing the flybridge, will I end up with a boat that looks the same as a normal F -26 Herdtop express model?

Thanks for your feedback.

1) Should not be to hard you will need to remove the wiring and control cables and steering .
You will need to change all the senders to single gage units ( oil temp and fuel )

2) Just some fiberglass to cover and seal the holes incuding screw holes

3) I would think the top is the same unless it was made stronger . yes it will look the same as the non fly brige boat

Just my thoughts , you could reduce the value of the boat buy removing it , and won't gain anything I can think of . a hundred pounds or so won't make much difference
But if you like the boat better with out it go for . I ll keep to my flybrige my self .

I'm considering between the purchase of a couple different F-26. One is a FB model. If I purchase the FB model and remove it... sure I'd be willing to let it go.

I'll let you know.
