Mid cabin - transducer location

Post by BobCT »

Can you guys tell me where you have your transducers installed?
I asked this over the summer and one of guys suggested near the inboard stringer/stb engine.

Airmar has suggested moving it forward and closer to the centerline. I was thinking of the mid cabin/under the center seat.

Wondering if that might be too low/ easy to hit.

Bob, this is where mine is located at the mid cabin area about 1ft. off the center line (starboard side)

You lift up the center mid cabin seat cushion to access it?

It will essentially be across from the AC seacock with the stringer in between, correct? Seems like a good spot, certainly nothing in front of it to create turbulence.

thanks
