Has anyone replaced the screens in their port windows? All the screens in my 85, 10 Meter have rotted away. I am stumped in how to replace them without replacing the whole port window. The screens look like they are part of the widow seal. Any ideas?
Thanks

if he doesn't have them, the portlights are made by GG Schmitt and they have screens available.
Just pry off the rubber gasket, silicone the new screens in place and you're done.

I re-screened my 10 meter mid cabin by gently prying out the rubber trim then gluing fiberglass screen over the hole, installing the rubber gaskets with glue then trimming the edge of the screen with an exacto knife. takes about an hour per port hole. Cleaning the old glue was the biggest part of the job.
This is a nice easy do it your self job that comes out nice and makes the boat look good too.
