I mentioned these in another thread but will start one here dedicated to the cause.
First one is a 36, which IMO is overpriced for its condition, and the ad is a little misleading. He has it listed as 41' OAL, which may be true if he counts the anchor pulpit and the swim platform. He also says its priced to move, which it clearly isn't. To add insult to injury 4 of the photos in the ad are taken in my spot, Commission Point! Ugh, the nerve of some ppl!!!
Second one is a late 32 with a decent enclosure. The 32 in particular would make someone a nice boat with a little work. The seller of the 36 isn't particularly motivated it seemed to me and was just hoping someone would give him his price.

Someone should get that 32.

The second ad listed is misleading. It shows an F 36 running the sea while the interior shots are of an F32.

IF you are going to copy photos from the internet at least make sure it is the same model

There are actually a lot of Trojans around Oklahoma - they were very popular here.

How can you tell the condition of the 32 from those blurry pics . The last boat I looked at had better pics and in person was a dog.

i never rely on the pics as they are almost always misleading.... the photo's are usually taken at the best that boats looked during ownership

There was a BROKER who was selling a boat about a year ago. The boat he was representing in ads as the boat he had for sale, was actually another guy's boat which was for sale, listed elsewhere! He was selling an identical model, abeit a different boat.
I think some unscrupulous and lazy folks just put together whatever they can, even if it means stealing brochure ads, for another boat and trying to make a sale.

Yes I love the ones that use the factory brochure photo from 30 years ago to show the boat.

Roy, they are both local. I looked at a bunch before I settled. The interior on that 32 needs a refresh. Agreed, the pics stink.

Hmph, as for photos, someone who was interested in our boat tipped me off that someone else was using *my photos* to sell another boat! I was rip$^&*!
This was on Yachtworld. I called the listing broker's office and nicely explained the situation and said that I wanted the photos removed immediately. The woman on the other end of the phone said that was impossible - the broker was at the (whichever) boat show for the weekend. I pulled the obnoxious card - "What's his cell phone number?" To cut to the chase, the photos were down within a few hours.

It's amazing that a f32 can be bought between 10-15K, but you step up to a f36 and they're 40K+
