What are the rich people doing...

Hi all, Happy Friday!!! I was just sitting here on my boat after getting all of my work obligations behind me, making a pot of chili and having a cocktail or two. We here in the Chesapeake Bay region are about to get some rain and snow. They just said it on channel 4 so it must be so :D
It reminded me of what my grandfather would say on a perfect day..."Wonder what the rich people are doing" Well, today I feel like a rich man.
What are all of you doing? Boat related of course...or not.

I didn't do anything boat related today. I took advantage of the 40 degree weather and cut and split a couple cords of firewood. I don't have a furnace and heat 4000 sq. ft. with wood only. It keeps me busy, and when its nice out I don't mind getting a little ahead for next year.

I can't believe my heat pump is still working on the boat. We have had a really mild winter here on the Chesapeake.

Ron, I hit 4 bells at 2:30...rough week...LOL

Shhhhhh....don't want to curse us!

My heat pump still puts me out of the boat. It gets hot! They say once the water temp hits about 45 the efficiency is nill but mine works well!

i went down to the boat around 1300 and sacked out in the salon, small ceramic cabin heater warmed up the salon to 85 degrees in about 20 minutes. i close off the fwd and aft cabin doors and i have a nice little snug area. the chesapeake bay retrievers across from my slip (huge house on the water) were larking about and just having a good time swimming. they really make my day every time they are out and about. mom and dad kept our tri cabin at capital yacht club in washington, dc. we used to always do evening cruises and hugged haines point on our way back into the yacht club. dad always used to say, ''let's turn on all the cabin lights, pull the curtains back and give the peasants a thrill as we motor by....." i still laugh at that thought. i'm back home now, enjoying a pastrami on rye w/ sharp cheddar (shhhhh don't tell my rabbi that i'm mixing meat w/ dairy and on shabbos no doubt!!! ahh the horror  ) on the sofa w/ maccabee at my side. and yeah, he's drooling at the thought of getting a few pieces of my sandwich. that to me is my definition of a very good day.
just wanted to share with you guys.
aaron (maccabee too!!! ---lifts paw for a high 5)
