Input needed for the Trojan book.

I've drafted the 30 sedan and the 26 and I thought before I keep going maybe you guys should see the format and let me know if you as trojan owners want more info, more story, or more photos. Currently each boat would get two pages like below, and then a couple more pages outlining the changes over the years to that model. After that a current owners story. For example, The 32 would have 2 pages for the sedan, 2 for the express, and 2 for sportfisherman. Then about 4 to 6 pages for the changes over the years and maybe 4 to 6 pages of a owners boat.

Do you want more detail like factory options, standard equiptment, print ads, engine data, detailed performance data, and what was offered during each year.

Let me know, I want to get it right!

Hi Doug, thanks for your metric comparison :D

Your usually 'miles per gallon' here in Europe is hard to understand.

Or does anybody of yours know that my car need's 5,5 L / 100 Km ???

I agree, I don't know how the copyright thing will play out but I'll check into it. OK, if you guys think it looks good then I will forge on!

I like the layout. When you say the model started in 1975, you mean the flybridge model? I have a 1971 F26, but it's not a flybridge.

Kinda feelin' left out here 1986 F27, not a lot of us around, and I realize it is really a recycled F26, but I think it deserves mention...no?

Is this your boat?

The one above (my book page) is a 261 which I think launched in 1975, is this correct?

In the book I think I will add a page indexing the boats, the F36 for example is 4 different boats, the sedan, sportfisherman, tricabin, and tri flybridge

F-27? that's new to me. Do you have any info on that boat, I would love to add it to the book. :D

The layout looks great. All of the detail items that you mentioned in your original post have a great deal of appeal from my perspective. There's one other data point that I am generally curious about and that is how many of each model are still around. I'm guessing that the challenge would be finding a source for this level of detail.

Thanks,
Jim
