Hello, I've been looking for her for awhile and last June I finally found her. "She" is a well cared for 1985 f32 with 350 crusaders.
This forum has already helped me in a big way and I've learned alot because of it. I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know some other proud Trojan owners.
Some projects I'm working on:
Transom shower (not sure where I want to install it or if I want hot-cold or just a cold wash down). Suggestions are welcome.
Battery charger. Currently has a 50amp "dumb" charger and I'd like to get a smart one.

Welcome aboard. Nice Yacht you have. Command her proudly. Cold only is my vote for the transom shower. First, the hot water needs the genny and time to heta up. Plus, mostly, you will be anchored out and probably swimming, and therefore warm when needing the T/S. Plus I am in Florida and hot is not needed.!

Thank you. I'm leaning towards the cold only, because I have the beige gelcoat. I'm having a difficult time finding a hot/cold kit to match. I have however found some just cold "plastic chrome" flush mounts. You're right I primiarly will be using it as an alternate to swimming to cool off on those hot days.

Welcome to the site , I assume you can make hot water , with the Genny or from engine . ( heat exchanger in water heater ) so why not go with hot and cold. the cost will only be slightly more .

New myself to the site, but not to boating. I don't have a transom shower but the fresh water wash down is more than enough for a rinse after swimming.

Welcome. Mine is the same year.
I have two faucets in the cockpit, port side. They are plumbed with fresh water from my holding tank. One I can use for dockside water, there is a check valve so water won't flow back into water tank, while I can use the other for washdown. Is yours set up this way?

Welcome to the forum!!!! I had hot & cold washdown on my last boat. The hot water tank stayed mostly hot all day. the only ones that used the hot was the kids when they came in from swimming and during a windy cooler late morning said they needed it. IMHO, I would go with both. You might not need it, but its there if you do.
And it was nice to have hot & cold for washing greasy hands outside after finishing a project.
