Does the upper berth in the F28 cuddy have any "structural" value? Thinking about removing half of it to access shelving, etc under it. To me, that space is very difficult to access and dark to say the least. I don't want to do any unrepairable damage..........

More interested in storing gear (fishing) there. I'd leave the port lower berth and still have a berth in the salon.

One of our members in Fort Worth removed it, he had pictures posted. I think handle is YZF195, I called several times never returned my call. I plan on taking mine out. you can search for his posts. His boat was definitely on Eagle Mountain Lake, his dad gave him the boat which was in the family for years.
