Cape Charles, VA Festival - May 5

If any of you lower bay guys are looking for something to do, there's a festival at Cape Charles, VA on May 5th.

I think it's the first one so I don't know what to expect. The little town used to have an annual music festival that were pretty laid back years ago but they stop doing them. I guess they are trying to get things going again with the new marina and all.

I would like to but I may still be out of the water. I'm going to haul the boat in April and may commit to a month of being on the hard to do some much needed maintenance. We will see.

They are doing a lot of work over there , new floating docks bath house , restaurant coming soon .

I hope it takes off, they really need it to the town is dieing fast. They missed the the boating boom of the past 20 yrs. Other towns on the lower bay have cashed in on it. We went to the Firefighters/ 4th July fund raiser and it was a bust no Venders to speak of but the firework were killer...And Bay Creek hasn't said anything about this Crab fest....
